Scout Sunday

Scout Sunday at Johns Creek UMC is a major celebration of Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in Johns Creek, GA.   We celebrate Scout Sunday every year on the first Sunday of February averaging about 225-250 uniformed Scouts and Leaders in attendance. 

We have a Scout Choir made up of Boy Scouts & Girls Scouts in the 3rd - 12th grades which performs as part of the service (see photo to right).  We recognize Scouts and Leaders as part of the service.  In addition there is a God & Country recognition ceremony immediately after the Scout Sunday service which recognizes all Scouts whom have completed their award.
